In the scope of the Cultura Algarve Horizonte 2030 process, a World Café for the Cultural and Creative Sector in the Algarve region will take place on May 12th between 5.30pm and 8pm, for which you can register HERE.
This board session for the Algarve Cultural and Creative Sector uses the group methodology commonly known as World Café. This is a methodology of sharing and group discussion widely used throughout the world, being very useful to stimulate creativity, explore relevant themes and create space for collective intelligence to emerge. The name Café appears precisely to invite people to talk in an informal, relaxed way, as if they were at a table in a café/restaurant. Although this World Café is Virtual, taking place on the Zoom platform, it will use methodologies that allow this action to be developed with dynamism and generating opportunities for everyone to participate, just as they would in a face-to-face setting. The aim is that the participants' contributions can be integrated in the document "Cultura Algarve Horizonte 2030", which should be concluded by the end of the summer and will serve to guide the municipalities and regional entities, framing public policies, with a view to the cultural development of the region. In a partnership between AMAL, Faro2027, the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and the University of the Algarve, a series of online actions have been carried out, focusing on the importance of culture in the development of the territories. Another consultation session open to the public is scheduled for the 19th of this month.
