What are the objectives of the
document "Culture Algarve Horizon 2030"?
The importance of this document is justified by itself. This document will serve as an instrument that the municipalities and the region can use to guide sub-regional or local plans. It will also serve as a guiding framework for the application of the next Algarve Regional Operational Programme or the Recovery and Resilience Plan.

Promotion of a prospective vision for culture in the region
Inspiring visions of the future on the development of the cultural and creative sector in the Algarve. Listening to the territory and its agents. Seeking to know and bring together their aspirations. Defining guiding principles that enhance development through culture
Bringing together the listening sessions and the guidelines of the regional plans in force and in preparation, a set of principles is defined based on a perspective of innovation and local and regional development through culture and creativity. Creation of sustained value associated to culture in the region
To value the Cultural and Creative Sector not only as a driver for personal development and intellectual enrichment of citizens, but also for its social and economic value. |
