What happens when you put Modernist Architecture and Minecraft together?
The Grand Auditorium of the Gambelas Campus of the University of Algarve (UAlg) June 18, at 10:00 am will welcome the closing session of the educational project MI.MOMO.FARO. The ceremony will be accessible online and live on the Facebook page @faro2027, an event that will be attended by the Mayor of Faro, the National Commissioner for the National Arts Plan and partners of the project, as well as students, teachers and technical team involved in it. Besides the presentation of the works produced by students from the 3rd cycle of the local schools, the closing session of MI.MO.FARO also includes a cultural moment promoted by the National Arts Plan (PNA), now marking its second anniversary. The ceremony will be joined, by video, by a representative of Kaunas2022 (European Capital of Culture in 2022) that will integrate the second edition of MI.MOMO.FARO. MI.MOMO.FARO is a project developed by the Faro’s candidacy to European Capital of Culture, with the support of Microsoft and the National Plan for the Arts, with the aim of spreading the modernist architecture, as built cultural heritage and legacy for future generations.
