7 People, 7 Pictures and 7 Texts
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we invited the photographer Vasco Célio and the young artist Matilde Valério to work together.
They created 7 portraits of people hiding their faces with hygienic masks. Based on these portraits 7 poetic texts were written.
To give voice to these texts we invited students from the Performing Arts course of the Escola Secundária Tomás Cabreira and Aperitivo: senior and international theatre group.
The exhibition, only possible with the support of Forum Algarve, will circulate between cultural venues and promote (inter)national/generational dialogue about what it is like to live with your face covered.
