ABOUT THE PROJECT*:
As an artist, at a time like this, when I find myself at home without being able to go to the studio to continue my work, I find myself in an suffocating situation for any artist, because I cannot give continuity to the work and due to the lack or even almost non-existence of materials, but since I found a case of pens, the lack of ideas joined together. This quarantine brought my childhood to mind, a couple of white sheets of paper and a set of pens and everything became much more lively, those initial attempts to represent the family next to a house. Through this memory came the idea of this work. To portray what life has been for me at this moment, to make others aware through my work, to make them identify with the situations, to make them relate, and the most important thing for me is that people understand that there has to be a sense of responsibility, that they are not alone despite all this distance, we are all "together". *artist's text |
