Why do we only talk about Portuguese history? What is on offer, culturally? Why did you sleep so long? Where's the park for children under 3? Where are the green areas? Are you pleased with the presidents we’ve had since the revolution? Why so much concrete? Where are the houses for people to live in? |
Why doesn’t Faro have more gardens? Why people in Portugal are so nice? Why aren’t there more trees? Will a regionalisation mean a hospital, better roads and opening up to the sea, etc.? Why have they cut down on Christmas lights? Where's the park children under 3 can play in? Why is there no communal area? Why is there such a big deficit of cultural things to do? |
Why aren’t there any cheap houses to rent? Pourquoi visite Faro? Siete felici? What a small country, what a strange country, Faro is boring, do I like Faro? Why is there no temple in Faro? Why does something need to die for us to survive? Why is Faro big? Where would you go whitout fear? |
Para quando a construção da cidade judiciaria em Faro? Quando fazem a ponte da praia de Faro? Porque tem tantos azulejos? Vamos continuar a evoluir? Why are there so many new buildings? Why isn’t a building that houses a thousand people being built? How many pink buildings are there in Faro? Why are you not bigger? |

Because a bid for European Capital of Culture
is essentially about asking questions
and being able to listen to the answers!
"Proyecto Pregunta" aimed to enhance debating in public areas, activating the gathering collective knowledge in our city as a consequence. As it got underway in Faro, the project encompassed five actions carried out with different groups, where the public was invited to participate in a set of activities in which they were encouraged to question their views on various social topics, fostering new discussions and a new sense of civic engagement.
These events later culminated in street displays in which a giant structure would "wander" around the city of Faro presenting the results of the work and simultaneously encouraging the population to ask new questions.
